Schroeder Associates is one of the leading Manufacturers' Representative Agencies in the Midwest with office locations in the Quad Cities and Minneapolis. The agency was founded in 1972 by Paul Schroeder and has grown to an agency of five sales representatives and three office administrators. With this talented team, we cover most states in the Upper Midwest plus Manitoba, Canada.


Our agency was founded on the principles of Integrity, Diligence, Honesty, and Value. We offer these characteristics to both our Customers and Principals. These principles have allowed Schroeder Associates the opportunity to experience sales growth and territory expansion while providing premier customer service for the companies that we support.

  • Larry Johnson

    Larry was born and raised in the Midwest. He worked for John Deere- Des Moines Works for 14 years as a buyer before joining Schroeder Associates. With more than 32 years in the Manufacturers' Representative industry, Larry brings expertise in building relationships, expanding territories, and increasing the customer base and sales revenue.

  • Gary Scherer

    Gary's career has been in manufacturing since 1982. With experience in warehouse management and material control, then moving into a purchasing position, and finally into sales, Gary offers a well-rounded view of being a Manufacturers' Representative. Being a life-long resident of the Quad Cities area, Gary is very familiar with the Midwest. He is looking forward to many more years of applying his knowledge and passion to the company and their associated businesses and partners.

  • Paul Schroeder

    Paul founded our company in 1972 after several years working in sales and management for two manufacturers of specialty fasteners. Having a strong presence in the Midwest his entire career has allowed Paul to position Schroeder Associates to satisfy the needs of our customers through the Principals we represent. Our longevity and successes are a testimony to the core principles that Paul has helped to establish.

  • Doug Johnson

    Doug joined Schroeder Associates in 2007 after an eight-year career as a commercial pilot. Transferring the professional skills he learned in the aviation industry, his strengths include clear and concise communication, time and task management as well as the ability to work under pressure. While earning degrees in Sales/Marketing and Aviation, he owned and managed a 12-person contract packing business servicing the manufacturing sector. Having previous sales experience, Doug excels at understanding his customers’ needs and is committed to their success.

  • Scott Bauercamper

    Scott has been with Schroeder Associates since 2009. While new to the world of manufacturing, he has more than 8 years project management and marketing experience. While working for a large telecommunications company, he managed communication tower agreements for the Midwest region. Scott has an interest in the field of marketing and business management and holds a degree in Marketing/PR with a minor in Advertising and a M.B.A. He enjoys learning about his customers' businesses and how our Principals can contribute to their company, adding value to their products and their bottom line.
